This is my favorite sunblock now and I will recommend to everyone I know! It works great and is safe for the fish and reefs. If you don't know how to apply this make sure you watch the video first.
Once I heard this was reef safe I jumped on it immediately. It's way better than that watery stuff you get at any major retailers and it lasts longer too. 11/10
The second I heard this was reef safe I made the purchase and I have to say its definitely better than that watery stuff you get at any big box store. This stuff stays on you for a long time too. 11/10
My son burns easily. After refusing to use this sunscreen on the first day of our vacation, his shoulders and nose burned despite 50 SPF of the chemical sunscreens. Afterward, he started using this sunscreen and enjoyed hours of pool & beach time! The instructional video for how to apply was VERY helpful!
I love this sunscreen. I found it on the PADI site as their suggestion of the only proven reef friendly sunscreen. The suggestion of using moisturizer beforehand helped as otherwise, I have to use a lot to get it to spread. I discovered that it's the only sunscreen I've ever used that doesn't cause breakouts, including other reef friendly sunblocks! I also love the stream2sea moisturizer.
This trip I tried out the Stream2Sea sunscreen. We carried a 3 oz bottle and certainly found that a little goes a long way. It’s a mineral sunscreen so you just use a dab and rub it in. The videos on their website clearly show how to apply it. Hiking the Little Elk trail on a sunny day was beautiful. As someone who grew too tall for their hair, I am always concerned about the bald head getting too much sun. I used the white sunscreen (not the tinted) and it went on with just a bit of white sheen. It does absorb in with more rubbing and became less noticeable. Using just enough was key. I liked that it didn’t run down into my eyes as I hiked the almost 10 miles. The sun was hot but I didn’t get burnt. I did use my hat for part of the way for a bit of shade but mostly my head was in the sun. I did have trouble cleaning off the sunscreen. Since water is a bit unsafe at camp now, I tried to conserve by using a wet wipe. My skin was left with a sheen of sunscreen that lasted for a little while. This shouldn’t be an issue when enough water is available to clean up. The Stream2Sea products don’t harm the environment which is a big plus. I receive emails from the company that consistently talk about their commitment to not harming the planet. This adds to the positive feeling I get using their products. Thanks, Stream2Sea, for protecting my skin as much as the environment.

I love my Stream2Sea sunscreen!! We have been using mineral sunscreen for several years and truly prefer it. There is such a difference when you put it on your skin and you don't feel slimy! On the other hand, it forces you to conserve because if you use to much, you end up looking like a ghost, or slightly purple! We used just a small amount and rubbed it in really well. Even the bottle is ecofriendly - made from sugar cane instead of plastic! We were big fans of the company - really supporting what they stand for and glad to help a company that is trying to help protect the environment. After a couple hours of beach play - we had no burned faces and only exhausted children to pack into the car. I am a big fan of the suncreen and love what the company stands for!

This sunscreen works great (especially on the head for those with thin hair). It does not feel overly greasy or heavy. I love being outside and protecting both my skin and the environment are important. It feels so good to know that I am using a product that supports both of these goals.
Most off the shelf sunscreens make my skin itch and cause allergic reactions. This sunscreen is not only safe for reefs and ocean life, it’s safe for those of us with sensitive skin. It’s a total win-win.

I LOVE Stream2sea! While using, I have never been sun burned and my skin never feels greasy. It feels good to use a product that isn’t toxic to me or the ocean’s ecosystems. I will add that this sunscreen does leave a while tint to your skin, but if that bothers you then go for the tinted version. That one is great too!
Video was very informative and the technique worked very well. Our big bottle came with a convenient dispenser and we will be doing our own decanting in the future. I used the packing materials to clean some fish that I was preparing better than newspaper. Will definitely .recommend
Purchased the SPF 30 body use sunscreen specifically for my "tuna white" legs while working on and around my sailboat. This product goes on easily and has worked very well, so well the SPF 20 face and body sunscreen was just ordered and will be used by me personally and recommended to the folks joining me on SV: Wind Dancer.

I love this sunblock! Not only do you feel good because you're keeping the ocean safe, but it feels light. It's not greasy and it works so well!
Love this product - very timely shipping, effective and lasts a long time! highly recommend.

I'm a tennis player from central Texas. I play in the sun almost every day. The Sport SPF-30 is great: no runs, no drips, no grease, & no burns.
I usually hate using sunscreen because it's bad for the environment and also it burns my face. This cream is amazing. On a recent research trip in the Maldives, my entire team used this sunscreen and no one got burned! We were in the sun for long hours and it held up against diving/snorkeling and sweat. Keep in mind this product goes a long way and you need to mindfully rub it in for an effective layer. Embrace the white face and you will love the protection this sunscreen offers!
My partner and I are both scuba divers and we care about the reefs and of course our own health and skin just as much. Usually I try to wear a lycra shirt to protect myself from the sun, but sometimes I need some more protection - especially on hands and face. We both like how long the bottle lasts and while we appear a bit white when wearing it, at least we know where we applied it already. I prefer to have a bit of a white touch instead of being burnt!
This is the best sunscreen ever! You have to use like half as much as normal, which makes it very affordable. It doesn't burn my eyes and I didn't get the slightest bit burned. Great product!

I am a scuba diver and love that I can protect the coral reef while diving!
I love this.. Being in Arizona the sun is intense and being fair skinned I burn easily.. This product is great. No burn. Plus the added fact that I am a diver and I know that I am protecting the underwater life that I enjoy so much. Thumbs up for your product

I spent ten days in the summer Bahama sun with 3oz of this sunscreen and still came back with half a tube! A little of this product goes a long way. I also came home without any crazy dark spots on my face like I usually do with other sunscreens! I felt protected every minute, never got burnt, and definitely felt good about diving, snorkeling, and swimming knowing that I wasn't any toxic chemicals to the ocean.

This is the best sunscreen ever! I have to take the time to apply it properly, but once I do, it will hold all day and not run into my eyes or rinse off when I'm playing in the water. I love that it is safe for me and the environment!

It makes me feel good that I'm protected with a biodegradable sunscreen that is safe for my skin, especially my child, and is also non-toxic to the aquatic animals we love.
