Even though Every Day Mineral Sunscreen is sheer and lightweight, applying a mineral sunscreen is different from what you might be used to! Apply in sections and rub in to blend. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming, sweating or immediately after towel drying and at least every two hours.

I used it on myself and was really impressed. I live in the desert where the sun is super intense. You will start to burn within minutes of being outside, especially if you're fair-skinned. (I am).
I loved how this sunscreen felt and it protected me from getting red and burned.
Although it was sweat-resistant, it washed off easily in the shower with soap.
Much easier to deal with than thicker brands like Blue Lizard.
I wish they made this in an adult formula in a bigger tube. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

What does tested & proven safe means for our bodies, waters and coral reefs?
Just because the front of the bottle might say it is reef safe does not mean that it is. That is because these terms are not yet regulated. You still need to look at the back, starting with the active ingredients listing. We have also discovered that just because a product is safe for people does not mean it’s safe in an aquatic ecosystem. Modern science has given us many lab tests to determine the safety of cosmetics, but there are currently few scientific lab tests to see if products are harmful to fish, coral and other aquatic life. Biodegradability Tests
It is important to know that just because a product is biodegradable for example, a biodegradable sunscreen, does not mean that it is non-toxic. To be considered ‘readily biodegradable’, the product must break down into its natural state from 60-80% in 28 days. Stream2Sea products are readily biodegradable in fresh and salt water.

Great that many ingredients are non-toxic and ocean safe. High spf and white cast is not so bad. Scent not being strong us also a bonus. Cute design and good amount for price. Overall, nice product and priced competitively. Nice story behind product as well.

Well, kudos to the company for being environmentally friendly. Their store page on Amazon has a variety of skin and sun products all safe for the earth. This might be for kids, but I am using it for my daily work outside and lawn care. It does go on thick, but it rubs in so you don’t notice it. Mostly I want to avoid any more sun damage after living 20 years near the beach. Yes, mineral sunscreens cost more, but they work better and zinc is not toxic to your skin. Between sun block and sun screen and suntan lotion, and all the different kinds of sun rays, we aren’t paying attention to what we grab off the shelf. Do yourself a favor and read up on it and pick a good product for your needs. It’s an investment in your skin health. This one is a good choice .

I was pleased that this sunscreen had all of the things I look for – it is lightweight and absorbs well with a subtle scent and no greasy feeling after application. Added bonus that it is biodegradable and safe for our waterways! This will definitely be a product we reach for many times this summer!
