The complete
Diver's Essential
Bundle.
Three products every diver needs — and most don't know exist. Mask Defog that holds through a full day of diving. Gear Wash that extends your wetsuit's lifespan. Ear Rinse that's alcohol-free and gentle enough after every dive. All Reef-Safer™. All formulated by marine biologist Autumn Blum.
One for your mask.
One for your kit. One for your ears.
Three products that cover every part of your dive — before you enter, while you're in, and after you surface. Built specifically for divers and snorkelers who care about what goes into the water.
Professional Mask Defog
The defog that holds through a full day of diving without reapplying — and that you can rinse into the water without guilt. Based on the same tested, biodegradable formula as Stream2Sea's shampoo.
Water Sport Gear Wash
No-rinse, concentrated formula that removes salt, chlorine, sweat and odour buildup from your wetsuit, BCD, fins and regulator. Plant-based. Formulated with the waterway in mind.
Ear Rinse
Helps keep the ear canal clear after every dive or snorkel session. Alcohol-free and gentle enough to use after every single dive — no drying, no irritation, even on multi-dive days.
All three essentials.
One bundle built for divers.
Everything you need before and after every dive — in one package, at one price. The most complete Reef-Safer™ dive kit available. Used by dive instructors, divemasters, and ocean-conscious divers worldwide.
What you put in the water
stays in the water.
The defog you rinse off your mask. The gear wash that goes down the rinse station drain. The ear rinse that ends up in the shower. Every diver introduces product residue into waterways on every dive. Stream2Sea was founded by a marine biologist who took that seriously from day one.
Most defog enters the water column untested
Conventional defog uses surfactants with no aquatic toxicity evaluation. Stream2Sea's Mask Defog is based on the same biodegradable shampoo formula — tested against aquatic safety standards, not assumed.
Gear wash runoff flows into the same water you dive in
Most conventional gear washes use harsh synthetic surfactants never evaluated for marine impact. The Gear Wash uses plant-based glycolipids that have been — because what goes down the drain reaches the reef.
Alcohol-based ear rinses cause problems for daily divers
Alcohol strips the natural protective oils from the ear canal with repeated use — fine occasionally, damaging every day. The Stream2Sea Ear Rinse is alcohol-free and formulated for divers who are in the water constantly.
Before, during and after every dive
Three products, four steps — a complete Reef-Safer™ routine from gear prep to post-dive recovery.
Prep your mask
Apply a drop of Mask Defog to each lens. Rub with finger, add a little water, spread evenly and pour out. Clear vision from the first dive.
Mask DefogDive — no fogging
One application holds through 10+ dives. No reapplying between dives, no rushing at the surface. One less thing to think about on the boat.
Mask DefogRinse your gear
Add 2 fl oz Gear Wash to your rinse bucket. Soak 10–15 minutes. No rinsing needed — hang to dry. Salt and chlorine neutralised.
Gear WashClear your ears
A few drops of Ear Rinse in each ear after surfacing. Alcohol-free — gentle enough to use after every single dive, every day of the season.
Ear Rinse"I created the Mask Defog because my own spit wasn't cutting it — and every commercial option used ingredients I wouldn't put near a reef. I jumped into the lab and used the same tested, biodegradable formula as our shampoo. It works brilliantly. And you can rinse it off at the dive site without thinking twice."
Trusted by divers who know the difference
"Best defog I've used in my 36 years of diving. It holds through multiple dives without reapplying and doesn't irritate my eyes. And I'm not rinsing chemicals off my mask at the reef anymore."
"My wetsuit has lasted two extra seasons since I started using this. The no-rinse formula is a game changer when you're tired after a dive. Add to the bucket, hang up, done — formulated with the waterway in mind."
"As a PADI instructor I recommend Stream2Sea to every student. The defog outperforms anything else on the boat, the gear wash has extended my kit's life noticeably, and the ear rinse has solved a problem I've had for years."
"I've had recurring swimmer's ear every season for years. Started using the Ear Rinse after every dive and it's the first season I haven't had an issue. Alcohol-free matters when you're diving every day."
Not satisfied? We'll make it right.
Every Stream2Sea formula is made to be used in and around water you care about. If it doesn't perform as described, email hello@stream2sea.com and we'll sort it. No awkward returns, no runaround.
What divers ask us most
How is the Mask Defog different from baby shampoo?
Baby shampoo washes off quickly when water enters the mask — especially on deeper, longer dives. The Stream2Sea Mask Defog uses guar gum, which leaves a thin film on the lens that bonds more persistently. Multiple divers report it holding for a full day of diving (10+ dives) on one application. It's also formulated from ingredients biodegradable in freshwater and saltwater (test data inherited from the shampoo base) — baby shampoo isn't evaluated for aquatic impact at all.
Can I use the Gear Wash at the dive site rinse station?
Yes — that's exactly what it's designed for. The plant-based glycolipid surfactants in the Gear Wash have been evaluated for aquatic impact. Adding 2 fl oz to a 30-gallon rinse bucket produces a dilution at responsible-use concentrations for aquatic environments. Most conventional gear washes use harsh synthetic surfactants that aren't evaluated for this at all.
Why alcohol-free on the Ear Rinse?
Alcohol does help evaporate water, but it also strips the natural protective oils from the ear canal lining — causing irritation and actually increasing susceptibility to infection with repeated use. Fine for occasional use, but divers in the water daily need something gentler. The Stream2Sea Ear Rinse is formulated to help clear water without the cumulative drying effect that makes the problem worse over a season.
Can I use the Gear Wash on my regulator and BCD?
Yes — tested on neoprene, latex, technical fabrics and metal hardware across wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, fins, masks, snorkels, dive computers, swimwear, drysuits, gloves and boots. The pH-balanced formula won't accelerate the material degradation that harsh surfactants cause. Add 2 fl oz to your rinse bucket, soak 10–15 minutes, hang to dry. No rinsing needed.
What does "Reef-Safer™" mean?
"Reef-safe" is an unregulated term — any brand can print it on any bottle with no testing required. Stream2Sea uses Reef-Safer™ because our founder is a marine biologist who evaluates every ingredient against published aquatic toxicity data. It's not a softer claim — it's a more honest one that actually reflects testing. The Mask Defog is based on shampoo ingredients proven biodegradable in both salt and fresh water. The Gear Wash uses surfactants evaluated for marine impact. That's the difference.
Is the 16 fl oz Gear Wash available?
The bundle includes the 2 fl oz travel-size Gear Wash — ideal for the dive bag. The 16 fl oz size is available separately for home use or regular divers who want a larger supply. Both use the same concentrated formula, giving 80+ uses per 16 fl oz bottle.
