How does the Naturally Naked bar differ from the other shampoo bars?
The Naturally Naked bar is completely fragrance-free — no essential oils, no botanical fragrance compounds of any kind. It is specifically formulated for sensitive skin, people with fragrance sensitivities, eczema-prone scalps, or anyone who prefers a fully unscented wash. The Swim Strong bar includes peppermint for scalp invigoration. The Color Protect bar has a light lemongrass scent from natural essential oils. All three use the same biodegradable base with rice protein and antioxidants.
Is the bar truly unscented or does it have a natural smell from the ingredients?
The bar has no added fragrance of any kind — no essential oils, no botanical extracts selected for scent. There is a very faint natural smell from the raw ingredients themselves (particularly the shea and cocoa butters), but it is minimal and does not linger on hair or skin after rinsing. Multiple reviewers with fragrance sensitivities confirm it does not trigger reactions.
Is the Naturally Naked bar suitable for all hair types?
Yes. The formula works for straight, wavy and curly hair. For fine hair, use a small amount and focus on the scalp. For thicker or coarser hair, allow the lather to work through to the ends. The shea and cocoa butter make it particularly well suited to dry or coarse hair that needs extra nourishment alongside cleansing.
