Most “biodegradable” products are tested only in sewage treatment plants under lab conditions. Stream2Sea tests in both freshwater and saltwater environments — because those are the conditions the formula actually encounters when used outdoors. The formula breaks down completely within 30 days in real-world water conditions.
Will the Leave-In Conditioner weigh down fine hair?
No — it's specifically formulated to be non-greasy and lightweight. Apply to damp hair only using a small amount. Multiple reviewers with fine hair specifically note that it doesn't flatten their hair. A small amount is enough for most hair lengths.
Is the Body Lotion fast-absorbing or does it leave a greasy finish?
Fast-absorbing — no greasy residue. It's designed for use after swimming when you need to get dressed quickly. Apply to slightly damp skin for best absorption. The formula uses the same Green Tea and Wakame antioxidant base as the shampoo so it nourishes while it absorbs.
Is the 32 fl oz the same formula as the standard sizes?
Yes — exactly the same formula, same concentration, same biodegradable standard. The 32 fl oz is purely a value size for regular users. All three bottles are made from 97% post-consumer recycled content including ocean-bound plastic. Pump heads are available separately for easy dispensing.

The biodegradability in saltwater within 30 days means it can be used at outdoor rinse stations and boat decks without environmental concern.
Does the Shampoo work well in saltwater conditions?
Yes. If fresh water is available, rinse first to remove the bulk of salt before washing — this gets the most out of the formula. If not, it still lathers and cleans in saltwater conditions. The Leave-In and Lotion are applied after rinsing regardless of the water source.
