Works Well To Soothe Mild Sunburn, A Bit On The Runny Side, Moreso On A Hot Day
This is a nice soothing Aloe Vera Gel for mild sunburn. Fortunately I haven't had any real bad sunburn or others burns to use it on. It has a pretty neutral scent which is nice.As other have mentioned it is a bit on the runny side. It might actually work better for dispensing from a pump as opposed to a tube. That might make it easier to dispense just the right amount. Once you know it is on the runny side you can adjust how you hold and dispense the "gel" from the tube. If you keep it in the fridge at home that will help it be not quite so runny. If you take it to a hot sunny beach that will tend to make it a bit more runny.I don't know that this is necessarily better than most similar products I've used thus far but if it is "reef safe" then I'd gravitate toward this more than another brand that is not. Who knows, maybe all Aloe Vera gels are "reef safe" just like all broccoli is vegetarian.Overall, if you like the tube dispenser, don't mind that this gel is a bit more watery than some others and want something that will do a good job soothing at least mild sunburn then this is a good choice. If "reef safe" is indeed something meaningful that differentiates this from similar products then that may be another reason to buy this particular gel.
