What a shocker - the Color Protect Shampoo Bar actually lathers up HUGE! I had to let go of my misconceptions about shampoo bars. This one smells good, builds great suds, rinses easily, and, left my hair feeling soft and manageable. I never, ever thought I would be able to say any of that about a shampoo bar! Is there conditioner yet? When's that coming??!! I'm SO excited about the transportability of this bar shampoo.
It's my first time using a shampoo bar and first of all, it smells so good out of the box. It foams up really easily and cleans very well and also washes off well without much water and leaves my hair feeling very clean! I followed up with Stream2Sea Leave-in Conditioner and my bleached & dyed hair feels so good now. The OG Stream2Sea Shampoo & body wash was my bathroom staple but this is now my new favorite shampoo! (TIP: I realized it does not hold up well in a soap dish so I made a soap saver just to hold these bars. I highly recommend getting a soap saver bag if you want them to last as long as possible!)
Loved the product. Worked well with minimal application. Basically a little goes a long way.
The only thing I feel would make it 100% better for those of us with longer hair is a similar product but a conditioner.
I felt like if I worked it in too much it would get tangled. So a bar conditioner would be Amazing!!!
After using it for the first time immediately after rinsing the shampoo out of my hair, it felt as if I had just done a deep conditioning treatment and I was able to run my fingers through my unbrushed towel dried hair with absolutely no product and I have thick curly hair that NEVER happens. This product is AMAZING and will definitely be the only shampoo I use for as long as it stays in stock.
