I am not a review person but this product is exceptional. I did lots of research on environmental working group prior to purchasing. It comes up highly rated and safe for the skin and environment. I have been using zinc oxide straight with a tinted sunscreen over it but not getting terrific results because it’s heavy, greasy and leaves a white cast Plus I don’t know how much of the zinc oxide is being absorbed into my skin and guessing it’s not non-nano.I just finished my first application over my skin care products and it went on beautifully. It feels completely weightless, leaves a nice matte finish along with a bit of a healthy glow. I have fair skin and the neutral shade blends in very well, I can’t see any white like I normally would.It also leaves the skin looking nice and moisturized, seems like my wrinkles and fine lines aren’t as obvious, I am 74.I am sold on this product and will never go back to any of the sunscreens I have been using on my face. I will also use this on my body but get the appropriate formula for that.This is fantastic, I can’t say it enough. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Try it and you’ll love it.
Too bad. It's a useful environmentally safe product. But warmth of skin makes it run into facial labia folds no matter how carefully I avoid applying near them. Makes a pearl necklace of milia on your face...
No smells, I don't look like a Mummy anymore, excellent protection without harsh chemicals.
I apply S2S in small amounts ("a dab") to my cheeks, chin, forehead and an even smaller amount to the bridge of my nose. I rub it in gently and thoroughly to get a shear, even layer. If your skin tone is fair enough you could probably add a second shear layer of S2S to increase coverage. If I want more coverage I sometimes apply some tinted BB cream with its own SPF and a slightly darker skin tone over the S2S sunscreen, to increase coverage and keep the overall color more natural. Just go slowly using small amounts, and rub it in gently and evenly for the best look..
The only sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or burn my eyes. Plus, I feel safe using it everyday knowing that it’s not harming my body or the planet!
