Headwaters Science Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to building the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on science education. We take science out of the textbook and into the field, where students can explore and fall in love with the natural world.

Through exciting outdoor school programs and camps, our aim is to see students grow into informed citizens, positive community contributors, and empowered decision-makers who make thoughtful choices for the environment. We are committed to making science education accessible by supporting students and educators through reduced-cost programs and financial assistance.
