There’s a new sun safety resource in town! It is our UPF 40+ Broad Spectrum Neck Gaiters – Face Scarf Mask – and UPF 50+ Broad Spectrum Rash Guards, made from recycled materials like fishing nets, plastic jugs and other discarded waste material.

At Stream2Sea, we are all about protecting our marine ecosystems and protecting your skin! We believe that, in addition to using appropriate clothing and of course applying our safe sunscreen, imperative safe sun measures include sunglasses, hats, and seeking out shade during the hottest periods of the day.

So we developed sun protection apparel that will help you do just that. You’ll look stylish, protect your skin and feel great knowing you’re helping encourage operations to seek out and remove ghost nets from our oceans and other materials destined for the landfill! Go forth and explore all your favorite locations under the sun!

Made from recycled fishing nets, plastic jugs and other discarded plastic waste material.

Our neck gaiters & rash guards are not only stylish but they offer excellent coverage for any outdoor activity. They are designed to block UV rays by featuring UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) for topnotch defense against the sun. On top of all of that our chemical-free fabric, sourced from recycled polyester is reef friendly and has exceptional durability.

We offer neck gaiters & rash guards for the entire family, including the dog, so no one is left out. They are a wonderful addition to our safe sunscreen while giving you the extra sun protection you deserve.

Protect what you love, while doing what you love!

What is ECONYL® used in our rash guards

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made by recovering nylon waste – such as fishing nets from the oceans and aquaculture, fabric scraps from mills and carpets destined for landfill – and turning it into virgin quality nylon yarn for the fashion and interior industries.

ECONYL® is produced in Aquafil’s plant in Slovenia. Waste is used to produce ECONYL® instead of crude oil. That’s right, in addition to using nylons that would otherwise be dumped into landfills or nature ECONYL® avoids using oil as a raw material.
